Certified Nursing Assistant

This intensive, one-year program is a valuable stepping-stone for 11th and 12th grade students interested in a health care career. In first half of the year, students focus on understanding human physical and emotional needs and the role of the CNA. Students will learn and practice required skills in the CNA lab.

In the second half of the year, students continue to build their health care knowledge in the classroom, and will also apply their new skills in a variety of clinical settings such as area nursing homes and the Rumford Hospital.
