Computer Technology

The Computer Technology Programs introduce students to:

  • Hardware

  • Software

  • Operating Systems

  • Networking

  • Security

After completing the course, students will be able to build a PC, replace desktop or laptop components, and troubleshoot operating system problems.

Computer Tech I

Computer Technology I focuses on CompTIA’s IT Fundamentals curriculum. Students will focus on skills needed for a job in the IT (Information Technology) field, and will learn through experience, both virtually and hands-on.

Computer Tech II

Computer Technology II covers a more advanced curriculum. Students will learn common wired and wireless technologies, cyber security, and other skills. Students gain the knowledge and skills they need to work in the IT and Networking fields.
